What happens when two teams whose guernseys 'clash' make the grand final?
I can't see the 'away' team wanting to wear its clash guernsey on the biggest day of the football year, in front of the biggest audience (live and tv) of the season.....will be very interesting what happens.

We had a mini situation like this during last years finals.
Melb v StK and especially Freo v Melb, the away teams wore their home jersey.
I agree Doggy,I can't see any team wanting to change its jersey on GF day if it has to.

Considering the AFL is the caretaker of the game and owns all of the current and future guernsey designs, it most certainly is their job. If only they could execute their responsibility with some balls. All clubs should be made to wear alternate strips that are predominantly white when playing away games.PhilG wrote:Psyber wrote:I think the AFL should design and impose an alternative strip for Collingwood. Perhaps rompers and a dummy?
No, that is not the AFL's job. And if they did that there would be civil war within the AFL that would destablise the whole competition.
