Lyon has handled this pretty poorly.

Ron Barassi used to be the master at doing that to players, saying to Stan Alves after a finals loss, 'the worse thing is you played so poorly in Stan's last game' so giving the player no out!.

Blues fans will be devastated! Well done on an Excellent career Dasher! Could play at either end and was really good at making friends with Bluebaggers!

True Reb, I almost got beaten up that day. I was wedged between two Geelong fans who were giving it to Carlton supporters. To them, our scarves looked identical and I got mixed up in the banter and a bit of push and shove before I had a chance to show everyone that I was on their side, not my colleagues!

Good career. I had no idea he had 292 games up!

But I'm also glad Geelong held onto him and we got Laidler.

Pratt Im not surprised, might get picked up by GWS. Urquhart was looking like our next star 2 years ago, amazing...

The pair joins Ed Lower, Ben Ross and Brayden Norris, who were cut from the senior list following the completion of player interviews in September, and rookie-listed pair Marcus White and Matthew Scott.
