Where evidence are you basing that on.
Interestingly SANFL crowds are about the same for AO matches as they are for suburban matches if not less on a few occasions.
As Dutchy said Port Power fans from the heartland of the Port will now be further away from the stadium they play at.

No doubt they will be up in the first half of 2014. But what about beyond? I bet the too wet too cold excuses will be rolled out.
Where does that leave us? A town that only has one major sports stadium

Will be interesting, initally i agree they will definatly get bigger crowds but once the inital novelty wears of i think you might find the opposite.
From my point of view i think alot of Northern Suburb folk will stop going to games. AO is city based which means from the Northern Suburbs you have to options Main North Road or Prospect Road, both these roads are only 2 lanes for most of the way, traffic is already extremly heavy i can see this being a massive turnoff.
Also are alot of families going to like having their children in the 'city' on a Saturday night around 11:00 when games finish, especially if families are going to have to walk distances to get to the ground.
Where is all the car parking space needed going to come from. Carparking at AO is terrible even when its a 10k crowd for SANFL finals.

trams and busses will be full. leave your car at home or at a park and ride. Plenty of options to work with. But im no expert, so let the experts work all that out.

What do you mean? There seems to be plenty of:
Accountants
Town Planners
Transport Experts
Retail Experts
Builders
around the place. I mean, there's people on here that seem to be all of the above.

Those EXPERTS have done such a great job with the rest of South Australia's roads and transport system lets trust them with this development as well.

Well, they are quite obviously doing it all wrong. I mean really they should just post a thread on here.
Reddeer & whufc would happily provide their expertise. You are urban planners aren't you fellas? Or have I got that wrong?
