Danyle Pearce cops it from all and sundry for not being able to handle a tag (and rightly so) but when are the media going to start asking the same questions of Bernie Vince...? Has done next to nothing since his breakout year in 2009.

And that is it in a nutshell .. I can't recall seeing many examples of a team folding under pressure, that were as glaring as what we witnessed last night.

Any club that get's the deer in the headlight syndrome is in real strife.

Taylor Walker shirking the issue on the wing when Trengove wanted the ball more let Port grab another goal. Weak as water at the contest there.

Why do Adelaide persist with Maric when they have McKernan and Tippett floating around?

Vince seems to be lost, Johncock ( named in the Sunday Mail in Adelaides best  ) should have been listed in Ports best.

Why do we only show up for a showdown? :?

On AFL 360 last week, when discussing Port, David King said something like "I've almost had it with Port - You know they'll come out and get themselves up enough to win this week, and then go back to their old ways again against anyone other than the Crows"

Obviously he's got the first half of his statement correct, remains to be seen on the remainder I guess .. Hopefully for Port's sake they can use this result and this weekend's match to kick-start their season.

How important is Matty Thomas for Ports these days, he's just a machine at the stoppages.

Yeah tell me about it.

I think the AFL need to introduce a clash rule when playing the power, opposing teams must wear red, blue and yellow

He was there in 97 and 98 too though lol

Irrespective, I think everyone can see that his time is up and I reckon the man himself knows it .. I can't recall him looking more resigned or lost for a reason for a performance than in Sat night's post match conference.

To be honest with the draw the crows have they should make the finals. they cop port, gold coast, brisbane and west coast twice each. before the seasons start they would have thought that they could almost pencil at least 6 of these 8 games in. They would only then have needed to pick up 5-6 more to get to the 12-13 wins for the year. the way they played on saturday especially the second half they will struggle to win 4 out of these 8 games.

I know I mentioned this before, but having seen it again last night.

Taylor Walkers effort on the wing against Trengove will haunt him for years. Opponents could sledge him and remind him of this for years to come.

Also interesting that Adelaide fans made mention of the fact they had 11 players with under 50 games experience in Saturday nights side. Port had 7.

Was absolutely shocking, and he knows it as soon as Trengove turns tail and takes off.

He is the prefect microcosm of Adelaide as a side at the moment. Moments of brilliance interspersed with long periods of mediocrity, or worse.

Experience is the only remedy really, and supporters need to stop getting ahead of themselves and realise this.

Port are in the same boat. This season will be the occasional brilliant win between several ordinary losses.

Scott Thompson's comment in todays 'Tiser "You dont need a Plan B if you are committed enough to Plan A" is all well and good, but what if Plan A is simply shithouse and doesn't work?
