I know in the past we have disagreed at times on regarding the PAFC but I have to say I am really impressed with your effort here

It's easy to sit back and throw stones at the crowds at AAMI but the SANFL do need more of us footy fans to get along if we can and you have done so to watch a team you despise.

Well done mate

I was doing training duties for the after match (SAAFL v Country) and about 10 mins into the first quarter I had to run into our rooms to pick up some grippo.

Our rooms were next to the Port rooms and as I walked past I thought their room was empty cos I couldn't hear anything. It wasn't - the room was choccas with people. It was just silent - eerily silent.

I was one of the Country Team trainers. Wish I'd known earlier so I could say gidday :)

I sat with the GC Suns families for the first half, before we went down to get ready.
They were so happy to be over here, and felt the team was in with a real chance.

I wished them good luck when I left, but really couldn't believe it when I heard the result
Then it sunk in, and I just couldn't help myself :D

At least I got one thing right this season and that Port would be bottom 3. I reckon I'm in with that at the moment. I'm not sure why Cow supporters are laughing, that rabble that got rolled yesterday were good enough to beat you guys. Probably says plenty for SA football at the moment. Both teams are rabbles!

On a serious note, probably about time to get Cornes and Pearce back into the side now, they could have used that experiance in that last term to steady the ship.

Ahem.

'The Power to Win" topped the ARIA Local Chart (SA) for four weeks in 1997.

Crows club song peaked at #2.

Do yourself a favour...

Pretty simple really, spend money on tickets (match day not season tickets) it goes to the AFL - no thanks

Get free tickets and spend money on beer, food and parking money to the SANFL and indirectly to the SANFL teams and SA based clubs - I like to do my bit.....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

IMO it says nothing about SA football, the crows and power are quite simply 2 AFL clubs that are based in SA

And that IMO is part of the reason there is falling support for both teams. The sides have alot more non south aussies than ever before and there is now no sense of pride in following your team.

What a crock. Cat fans don't care that Boris and Mackie are South Australians or that Smiffy is a West Australian. Once they put on the Blue Hoops we love em.

Geez, give me 37 premierships over yesterday's debacle anytime.

As bad is this is going to sound, i love the sanfl any day over those clowns that run the other competition but at the end of the day we need both afl teams (yes both) to be successful for all the sanfl clubs to benefit. I thought at the end of the season the 2 afl clubs had their profit announced and then it got distributed back to the sanfl clubs. So lets look at the bigger picture and keep the sanfl strong and the big wigs will stay away from our competition!
