Would make things interesting. Having said that I do enjoy watching Richmond this year - they are having a real go - not unlike their coach who was always keen on having a go..

I think you will find if RICHO was still playing Riewoldt would not of stepped up like he has this season. As sad as it is to say but RICHO retiring was the best thing to happen to the Tigers of late. Made the young kids realise (as well as Hardwicks 'Hard' work) that they have to step up and can no longer rely on 1 target up forward like RICHO.

Lets just hope we dont go all Jack consious, i agree Stan, an alternate forward would be ideal for next season, not sure what happened to Jaydyn Post but he looked promising up there. Morton is a bit hit and miss but i guess Jack was like that too until this season.

Plenty of young kids who are willing and able to have a go. I think they have the young players now to start really looking forward. It will take a few more years before they start a serious finals tout but still they are going in the right diretion.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards

Yeah I agree with that - sometimes it takes someone to retire for other players to step up. It also makes them work/play to their potential.

Morton is a talent, but is selfish and inconsistent, and should be shown the door at the end of the year IMO.

Post and Griffiths are the two talls that will improve to help Jack out, the fast-tracking of these two should be of paramount importance. The back six is solid with Thursfield, Moore and McGuane as the talls, with Newman and Connors as the 'quarterbacks'. Would like to see Deledio pushed back into the midfield, as him, Cotchin, Martin, Foley (who hasn't played at all this year), Edwards and Jackson as the tagger will make an excellent midfield going forward, and Vickery and Graham will be our ruckmen for the next 10 years.
