I tell you what, Vince's continued emergence has been a pleasure to watch. What huge strides forward he has taken from that raw country footballer of 20 that we picked up in 05.

Stop talking crap HOF. Typical whinging Port fan.

Port will get plenty of pats on the back in the paper tomorrow, don't worry about that.

Plus the papers should have more news about the Crows than the Power, there are far more Crow fans around... just look at your crowd today. Another crap one where you couldn't even crack the 30k mark on a perfect day. Your club is in crisis and your own fans can't be bothered supporting them.

Of course Crows deserve more coverage in papers etc, but it is beyond the joke how much more they get than Port.

Im not whinging, i am simply stating how i feel and how many other AFL fans feel (not just Port fans).

You are whinging.

Get used to it, it happens everywhere. In Perth with WCE and Freo, In Melbourne with Collingwood and the other members of the "big 4" over the so to speak smaller clubs. Why would it be any different in Adelaide?

First time on this site but HOF you are so one eyed Port that your comments are absolutely worthless.

The Advertiser should be renamed the Port Power Paper with Michaelangelo its patron and the Sunday Mail should be the Sunday Magpie with MC the chief editor.

The apparent bias that is now evident in the SA Press towards Port Adelaide is just amazing. One club seems to be always written in the positive, the other the negative. If there isn't a sport report on Port Adelaide its a baby arrival or a wedding or a nose bleed, the list is just endless. Full marks to Stephen Rowe for highlighting on radio the number of times a photograph of Chad or Kane occur in these papers.

If anyone wants to make their own mind up on whether this observation is correct, I suggest you cut out the articles over a period of time, and then after several months , line them up next to each other and make a judgement. I think it will be enlightening.

Im not a one eyed Port supporter, i didn't even start this argument, all i said was that the Crows would be all over the papers, then i got called a wanker and it went on from there.

Yes, i understand it has been happening for years and it happens in Perth with WCE and Freo. I don't mind the Crows making the headlines all the time, but something more realistic or normal would be nice. Most of the time with their headlines, it sounds as though they have just won the premiership.

Well very happy with the boys and alot of credit must go to craig. People bag him for being boring and suspect game plan ra ra but that game plan has got out youngsters to become the most disciplned team and with a developing forward line can now start to attack a bit more. The only reason we were called broing is because we didnt have the forwards to kick goals on the counter attack. We now have some light up there and you will see the crows like larger scores. We probably should have won by a few more goals but we still missed some easy goals.

Well done lads and lets get some another good win over the Saints this week

Petrenko looks an absolute beauty, a good mixture of skills and toughness.

He is the first born-and-bred lad from my club to play an AFL game too.

FS - I reckon you're spot on about Craig and the Crows style of footy - I think he maximised their results by playing a style (as boring as it was at times) that catered for their limitations in personnel.

Felch - Petrenko is a ripper prospect mate and displays everything you want to see in a young a lad on the field.

They were on the front AND back page of the paper plus a write up in the footy section! Good old Powertiser strikes again. ;)

Plus it mentioned that the "Power goal is now realistic" so they are obviously going to win the flag this year.

Rubbish HOF. The headlines chosen for the last five years have never flattered the Crows, someone in those papers has seen to that. As I said originally, your comments are worthless. Try adding something intelligent to the forum, or at the very least attempt something humourous.

Alright lads, I reckon we've covered the off-field enough, how about we stick to comments purely relating to the game now?

Quality not quantity HOF
I think your last comment applies to you not me.
As we are no longer debating the papers and what they print I see no point in continuing this thread.
