I predict he will ot get picked up as he is too slow and too much of a gamble re fitness.
Nixon is a idiot IMO, of course he's sticking up for Lance 10% of nothing is nothing....

Lance will be around Carlton in some sort of role next year...

LANCE HAS QUOTED HE WILL NOMINATE FOR THE DRAFT

mmm don't know who would take him.

Western Bulldogs are the only ones who would think about it IMO

And I think they would consider him. They might think hes worth a chance, a bit of height in the forward lines perhaps.

Jarred Brennan, now it looks like he has turned his back 1 Million over 3 years at the Lions, who is going to fight over him. It has been reported that Essendon after not being able to secure him with pick 23, pushed him to the PSD, with the impression that they have the $$ to get him to Windy Hill in 2008. Can the Tigers get him, as they have said they would ??

Rocket Eade comes out and says that cause of the knee and age the Bulldogs probably wont look to Lance Whitnall in the PSD. Where to next for Lance?

Pretty poor by Brennan IMO.

I think Richmond would have been budgeting for a decent player to slip through to the PSD so will be interesting i think.

Brisbane wont be too pleased, they lost Hadley for a nothing pick and may just lose Brennan for nothing at all. Interesting to note as well that Paul Connors manages both Chris Judd and Richard Hadley. He looked very close to Greg Swann at Trade week.

Spot on, i think he had a lot more to do with Hadley and Judd leaving than was first thought. (Particularly Hadley) He alerted Carlton that Judd will be leaving WCE at the end of the year mid-season. He played a massive part in Hadleys departure by telling Brisbane if they didnt take pick 52 then he would go through to the PSD.

Kepler Bradley delisted today, talk over here is that the Dockers will take him in PSD, cost them nothing in the end, good work during trade week then I guess to keep Pick 40.

Nobody @ the moment.
I hear that Sydney might be an option.
Don't know why though, it failed before.
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

Re Brennan

The AFL must sort out this negative effect the PSD has on the trade-week process

It's too easy for clubs to work the system and pick up players for free

I am sure Adelaide's compensation for Huddo was compromised because of the Bullies possie in the PSD

Fixed compensation (draft picks) should be given to the club who loses a player in this way. Alternatively, players that can't get a trade sorted stay where they are or sit out a year - make them ineligible for the PSD somehow.

In fact, why do we even need a PSD?

Re Brennan

I was in Brissy the past couple of days, let me say this, the Lions are seeing Red

the club tried to speak to Brennan prior to the trade period to determine his future, however he went in to hiding, removing the opportunity for the Lions to trade him and receive compensation, now after the trade period, he wants to go to Essendon....

the lions have been stung two years in a row

they are also spewing at the Hadley trade...

they are a very pissed off club at present

I have no sympathy for the Lions whatsover. They were basically gifted 3 flags through extremely generous recruiting/salary concessions (awaits RoyLion's quick retort).

Maybe the Lions need to look closer to home in whats happening around the club. Hadley comes from WA originally but isn't returning there to play, is going to Carlton. Brennan is from NT so if he leaves obviously wont be going "home" to play either. All clubs have opposition clubs sneakily trying to recruit their players, the Lions just have to be smarter about how they run their club.
