Pretty cringe and embarrassing really. Would be more worried about actually winning some games of footy & getting your club off the bottom of the ladder

Not too many North fans upset tonight.

lol there has been tears everywhere. The fact the majority of the responses have been fans wanting Rawlings head & for players to line JHF up next year really sums up where North fans priorities lie. Enjoy the next 5 years at the bottom.

Carlton only used one pick in the National Draft last year Jesse Motlop

Ok maybe the rule is list changes not drafting

I think that is correct.

"They will, however, be able to shift players on the senior list to the rookie list in the time between the national and rookie drafts if the player is contracted for 2022.

Meanwhile, clubs have been told they will have to again select a minimum of three players at the NAB AFL Draft after last year only needing to take one because of list reductions. The three live picks can include promoted rookies (before or after the national draft), national draft picks and pre-season draft selections."

OK so they do need to add 3 thru draft or upgrade, Port got any rookies they will promote?

I think a few of the posts that talk about wanting JHF to die in a freak accident have been taken down but there is some absolute garbage on there which include personal attacks on him and his family.

Not sure why we ended up in that trade but **** we lost our big. Losing pick 2 and Rioli and not getting Georgiadis and only getting 8 and 12 is a loss in my opinion.

You don't see clubs like Collingwood or Essendon helping out the small struggling clubs like we do FFS.

Seriously hoping the Grundy to Melbourne deal falls over.
I hope we play hard ball for him and Henry.

North copping it from all sides over JHF.
And fair enough I think.

Zurhaar might be a knob but it's not often you see a player make comments on another playing leaving in such a manner.

There is enough there amongst all the stories to suggest JHF may have also been as much of the problem as the Kangas are a bit of a rabble. You also didn't see a wealth of Kangas players lining up in the media making comments like they really hoped he stayed etc. Unlike at the GC where their leadership group came out publicly pleading Rankine to stay. Throw in the Kangas have let him go imo on the cheap side suggests they are somewhat glad to see the back of him.

All trades have an element of risk but geez Port are either going to look like heroes or flops. Best case JHF becomes the player everyone thinks he will be and Rioli settles by being back in SA and gets back to his best WC form. Worst case Rioli flops and just gets in more strife and JHF was a man child who peaked at 17 years old.

Yeah Collingwood should play hard ball here, with Jackson going they have plenty to offer in terms of picks.

Same with Geelong, they haven't lost our at all this period.

“I think it’s pretty much him choosing money over success,” Walker told Triple M.

“I was disappointed when Jake rang me and it probably took me a couple of days to get over, because I’m pretty loyal and I’d love everyone to stay.

“I think the AFL have generated this ... there will be a lot of player movement going forward and I think it’s going to get worse.

“For Jake, the difference in money was a lot. If you’re driven by money or if you’re driven by success, it’s a decision you need to make.”
