Great pressure by Garlett, was a lot higher up the ground this week.

Armfield, beat Newman (who is carp) but is Richmonds captain.

Playing wise, I still think he's the least effective captain in the AFL. Someone obviously rates him. I don't.

Newman is a very good player and every club puts a defensive forward on him

Newman is terrible. Captain gets tagged out of the game playing in the easiest position on the ground. It's no wonder Richmond never play finals.

Another good game by Armfield on Jetta today. Seems like he has found his role.

getting back on topic, our season is done and dusted now. A bit of a waste to be honest but hopefully we can get all cylinders firing for 2013.

Ratten still thinks you can make it.
You could win all your remaining games IMO
Still think Freo will grab the last spot though

He was a late withdrawal a few weeks ago and each week I've heard he's back but no cigar.

The more and more I see guys like Tex Walker from Adelaide, the more and more I think we should go after him next season. We need a focal point and despite his shortcomings, he's the type of bloke we need. If not, then a Hawkins, Riewoldt (J) type are the ones we should go after.

How we go about doing that, I don't necessarily know.

Reckon we just stick with casboult as a chf who has shown a bit and Mitchell as a full forward who's been kicking a couple of bags in the vfl. Both are tall, strong and young.
