You don't give up an established gun without getting close to equal in return. A first year player with great potential and a pick that could be something or nithing is about right.bennymacca wrote:of course, but you also dont expect to get paid massively when a player wants out - it is clear that the culture at the pies stinks and this is part of the reason he has left.
Shows how much you don't know. Yes, he wants out. Doesn't like the Leading Teams model being implemented and was certainly unhappy when his best mate Heater got the boot.
you are allowed to have your opinion that you think beams is as good as danger, i just dont share that opinion. no need to be a douche about it.

Danger wasn't that influential IMHO in fact i feel he was sometimes the problem, not the solution.
and i agree with the fact that danger had a down year. but it happens, especially when you are carrying niggling injuries most of the year.
according to AFL website,
danger had 6 best player for adelaide,
2 top 3
5 named in bests
beams had 7 BoG
5 top 3 (including second best on ground, mostly to pendles)
3 top 6
so even in a "bad" season for danger he doesnt stack up too badly.
beams had a better year for sure, but if you asked me who i wanted out of beams and danger, i would take danger 100 out of 100 and i think most people would, assuming both are fit.
