Rightly or wrongly the industry we are in says 'Yes' he has to be.

You live and die by the win loss column unless in a rebuild phase. Just the way it is.

Add that they have copped some injuries early on and their depth is questionable, not an ideal start ot the year, albeit its only early April.

I'm just some idiot from down the street but IMO our press goes way to high. Get out the back of it and the opposition will score every single time.

Whilst something smells off, Maybe his just had 2 average games, Tex has done the same but when your winning the heat isn't on you. Also a major part is the Adel mid tear players are going great guns and covering the void but when Port are in Trouble at the moment its left to the same 4 to bust there ass in Trav, Ollie, Robbie and Chad. these 4 are certainty not our issues.

Mentioned this morning on SEN that Boak is rumoured to be carrying a slight knee injury.
With Hartlett, Schulz and Wingard to miss this week will they take the risk against us and play Boak?

He will be good as long as Port are good

If Toumpas ever gets an AFL game again after today, it will only confirm that Port are stuffed and bottom 4 at best. He is pathetic.

Agreed but today he had about 15 mates in the same category.

What's your opinion Carey on Ports issues mate? I only ask because you were a pretty good footballer at local level and you obviously know the game well. I'm strong in my views but your honest opinion how can they fix it?

In short I don't know! LOL

Look I don't think they're are major issues just yet, Crows were outstanding and even in round 1 Alan Richardson had that edge to want to beat Port as well. I tipped Adelaide to beat us as I was at the Roos game in round 1 and the Crows pressure was outstanding, You need no skill level at all to apply pressure on the opposition and at the moment Crows have been outstanding (Insert vomit here)

Willingness to work I think is a key issue, I've been involved in midfields that simply refuse to the let the opposition kick 3 in a row yet when a side has a bit of momentum against us its the same 4 trying to dig deep in Trav, Ollie, Roobie and Wingard.

Bobby I rate highly as a defender but his leg speed is beginning to concern me. I cant stand Toumpos I just don't think he is up to it. Lobbe I was a little concerned with in round 1 but thought he did well against a very good ruckman in Jacobs.

Dixon just needs some time I confident he'll come good.

Maybe just maybe the Crows were on and Port clearly weren't and were looking far to deep in to it. I'll be at my first Port game for the year live so I will have a better understanding of where I think we are at after that.

I tend to think that bullshit rumor started from the walking penis in Andrew Jarman as to my knowledge Trav hasn't missed a training session and if he was carrying this surly he wouldn't be training every session???? With this being said I obviously don't know.

Correct weight.

I actually had full intention to record it, but focus quickly shifted to getting organised for my mates big day, and I completely forgot. Precisely why my target audience will forever be a dozen or so SAFooty posters who are interested in reading them, rather than the front page of the Advertiser or Sunday Mail...

If i don't watch the game or catch the replay, then there is no review.

I will be at the game this friday night, so win, lose or draw- there will be a review.

So who comes in for Wingard? Any other changes?

Perhaps Byrne-Jones could be a chance, or Amon.

Butcher can't get a kick in night games, so doubt he'd come in.

Amon most likely, or Mitchell.

Depending on the weather they might both come in as we might not need Howard, Westhoff and Dixon forward on a slippery night. Howard might miss out as I think Lobbe was at worst ok against Jacobs on the weekend, he stood up, pity his fellow midfielders didn't.

I would think Amon comes into the side to allow Boak to go forward more.

It won't be another tall and I doubt Byrne-Jones, he's not ready yet. Although, I'd swap him for Toumpas!

Out - Wingard, Howard (?)
In - Amon, Mitchell (?)

Might see either Boak or Impey spend time forward to cover the loss of Wingard.

I do like the look of Riley Bonner, very good left foot who can set up across half back.

Howard needs to play if Schulz is ruled out.

In: Amon, Mitchell and Byrne-Jones
Out: Wingard, Toumpas, Impey

Bonner getting close from what I have read, Boon. 20 touches on the weekend for the magpies- if he puts together a few more of those then he will be hard to ignore for some run off the wing.
