Very similar players.
Bock has torn him to shreds before, he'll do it again if he plays on him

Nathan Bock .................Cameron Mooney
Adelaide Crows.............. Geelong Cats
58..................Games ...........137
193cm.............Height.........195cm
93kg...............Weight......... 99kg
10.1..........Kicks Per Game.... 9.6
3.3..........Handballs Per Game 3.7
13.4....... Disposals Per Game 13.3
6.2......... Marks Per Game......7.8
1.5......... Goals Per Game..... 2.4
1.1......... Behinds Per Game ...1.6

The game is now over, the Crows have suspended Huddo so it will be Maric and Griffen versus Ottons, King and Blake in the ruck!

Was Bock on him last game? Last time the Cats played the Crows (remembering it was a Crows home game) Mooney got more kicks, more handpasses, more possessions, more marks and more goals than Bock and played in the winning side, the only stat Bock beat him in was getting one more tackle.
If Bock was on Mooney I'd hardly describe that as tearing him to shreds.
If he wasn't, disregard.
Pretty irrelevent discussion anyway, as the Cats can have 3 forwards get beaten and still kick 20 goals.

The answer is No, Bock definitely played up forward the last time the two clubs played

Steven's started on Mooney, followed by Bassett, Mooney was one of the key reasons why the Cats were still in touch at half time, along with G Ablett

Hopefully the Crows will learn from the previous game

1. If fit Bock must start on Mooney, if Bock is not fit they need to find a bigger bodied player, maybe Perrie

2. G Ablett, previous ame Torney then Shirley picked up Ablett, both players do not have the leg speed to go with Gary jr, Van Berlo or Douglas would be a better option

Cheers mate, well if that's the case it seems strange that the people on here know Bock tears Mooney to shreds but the Crows coaching staff don't especially when Bock only kicked 1 goal that day up forward.

yes it is a bit puzzling

I definitely believe Bock is a good match up for Mooney, but to this date it is an untried match up

Bock has only played one game this year att CHB, that was against the Bombers, he easily beat Lucas that day and has all the makings to be an outstanding CHB

lets hope Bock is fit and this week we see the match up

I don't agree with the opinions that Bock has it over Mooney or is clearly the better player of the 2

But .... I think Bock is generally under-rated and I don't think any of us really think that that Mooney, good player that he is, is rated up in the Brown or Reiwoldt class or one of the elite forwards of the comp. Mooney is now almost 28 and averages 2 goals a game - does the job. Bock at 24 is developing into a good key position player IMO.

Not that any Geelong supporter is necessarially revving Mooney up - think us Crows supporters started this :)

I reckon it would be a good, competitive match-up.

Bock has the size, strength, motor and ability to be a very very good CHB

Hopefully this is something the coaching staff will review as a long term option

Yep, I agree that Bock is an underrated player. If Bock does play on Moons and cleans him up Sillycone Tits will be all over me like a rash LOL.

Booney. drame Queen? OK then LOL.

If bock plays on mooney, and mooney beats him, i'll hail you king of all the land REB.
If bock shreds him, which he should, I won't be all over you like a rash, (i hope the one you've got clears up), but we've set up the stage for a big time "I told you so".
Ready for your pride to take a dive like Greg Louganis.

LOL. I've been wrong so many times it's sort of like beating Carlton. Bock isn't fully fit either so it's advantage Moons for mine.

What about the suggestion of Perrie on Mooney?
Mooney will kick 7 but i'm sure Sarge would have put a "good effort" in and "tried hard".
