FFS if a top 4 team can't beat a team thats 12th after being 2 goals up at 3/4 time on a sh!tfull night, whats the point of being in the finals??

All tonight has proved is that if both make September action they won't go very far....

In teh end it came down to "desire" and "want" in a finals type atmosphere and Port came up very short in that department.....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Well deserved win by the crows

I though the crows worked a lot harder than Port, this was demostrated in the clearances, inside 50's and scoring shots

Actually I thought Port tonight played a lazy brand of footy, 3-4 of their goals came from rebound footy, unfortunately some Port players were rewarded for not working hard both ways.

Unless Port pick up the work rate both ways, they will get smashed come Sept

Moving Forward

Still a tough ask for the Crows starting with Geelong at skilled, hopefully the Truck and Bock will be available for selection

Special mentions to Goodwin and Proplyzia, I thought both players were outstanding tonight

Hooray..what a great win...heroic effort...notice the crows players weren't jumping up and down on the fence like chad... suck on that arrogance personified, guess you and hackish Thurstans won't at the jetty hotel tonight....hoooray. Enjoy alberton. Lets hope for a double port loss sun when troy jaques kicks a goal after the siren to win it tomorrow! :D

MISSING!

One blonde haired (quickly receding) tosspot, seen running around for 3 quarters being a wanker but family is very concerned for him as noone has seen him since 3 quarter time tonight. Wearing number 35.

If found please ring Graeme and Nicole on 1800 LOSER!

Dunno mate, but you called him a loser I didn't.

Says something when Port fans call him a loser and honestly he wouldn't get within a bulls roar of Gary Ablett Jnr, Chad by name and by nature only gets kicks when loose in defence.

Great to see the Crows win (except for the tips and the bets)...

Very ugly game. I know the conditions were bad, but they were bad at Elizabeth today as well and that game was much better to watch than the Showdown tonight.

A great example tonight of how the new rules are bad for the game with Burton getting pinged for hands in the back. He'd have to have bloody long arms to be able to reach down to his opponents back from how high up he was! What a mark!
