As I eluded to on the SANFL forum its actually the ideal result for North. It now means we can afford Livingstone with the space Gill frees up.
At the very least Livingstone will take Gill's spot, at the very best both of them will be playing for North.

Correct me if I'm wrong doesn't the league allocate $350 for each game an AFL listed player plays league footy against the salary cap? In other words the player isn't a freebie some coin goes agaisnt the clubs salary cap allocation for that particular game. In other words if Sellar plays all 20 games for Glenelg seniors next year that is going to cost us $7000 leaving us $333 000 to sepnd on the rest of our palyers.
Obviously having Gill listed for Adelaide could save North $700 game assuming he was getting a tonne a game last year.....BPBRB or Wedgie can confirm what he was on, I'm merely assuming someone like him would get $1K/game.
