Id rather have our mids than yours with Sloane in it whos output relies solely on the whim of the opposition coach.

Maybe it's them not bothering with you because of statements like that?

There isn't a bloke in the football world who would want the Hawthorn midfield over Adelaide's.

I think youve mistaken me for someone who wants to engagein a conversation with Crows suppprters.
Pretty sure ours doesnt go missing in the most important game of the year. Was more saying that Sloane is a liability in there when the opposition coach decides that he will be.
And yes i dont know how to quote after 4 posts are reached

2018 Membership pack turned up yesterday. Looks like the new tag line or positioning statement is.... game face on.

Personally I'd like to see us from an onfield perspective run with.... game plan on.

For the most part I think us supporters in 2018 will have a ..... grim face on.

So far I have read the Hawks are linked to recruiting Gold coast Lynch, Dane Beams and now Rory Sloan. Why stop there? Lets go get Fyfe too!!

What will they do with your skipper mate?

He'd be on a decent pay packet, turns 32 in January next year, would they move him on to get Lynch?

I'd say Burgoyne and Birchall would know it's their last year freeing up ( not much ) space in the cap there.

Not that it would free much up, but Puopolo out of contract at the end of this season and you'd think doesn't fit their plans going forward. Be 31 next season.

A big defender ala May or Thompson would be nice too.

Haven't heard Beams, but have heard the Gaff whispers.

Tough call on Roughead I'm not sure, he does contribute around the ground and could be used as a defender although I'm liking Sicily back there in that role. Burgoyne probably his last year I saw him get caught a couple of times v Sydney and looks slower, but he's my favorite :( . Birchall I imagine it will depend on his 2nd half of this year when he comes back.
Having said all that I never saw Mitchell and Lewis leaving either, so very possible.

Said something on 360 the other night, along the lines of "according to GPS data Burgoyne ran his fastest 20m ever" against the Weagles. A lot more to keeping up with the game I know, but interesting nonetheless. If his body feels alright and he's keen he might get 1 more season? Be a sad day when he hangs up the boots, among my favourite players of all time.
