33 scoring shots to 12 shows how pathetic Richmond were. That's a total smashing

Crows played so well tonight. Won the contests around the ball. Kicking for goal was pretty bad and our entries in general weren't the best but I was so happy with our effort tonight. Knew we were going to win after quarter time, we just seemed more switched on

crows werent that great

every second kick went god knows where, charlie cameron fluked a couple, richmond were in it but were missing their finisher in deledio,

the crows backline is full of kids, jenkins stuffs up every 2nd possession he gets

without Dangerfield, thompson and sloan, the crows too were also average

tex was excellent however, stood up

there was no silk in that game, dont go painting it as something it wasnt

I agree totally with Marbles. (Is this a concern ;) )

Walker was outstanding but for mine it was more how bad Richmond were than how good the Crows were. Credit where it is due, The Crows pressure to shut down the 'release' kick Richmond played to the week before was good but it was the first time this year I turned the footy off such was the standard of the game. By far the worst ive seen.

I defiantly agree with the Crows dropping Wright but there are a few more to go I believe. I also think JPod offers more than Jenkins but that's just my opinion.

I must also mention Jacobs last night he was very good.

Can you Crow lovers shed any light on why CEY has gone from the penthouse to the shithouse? Phil Walsh maybe?

Crows were good in area's, like contested ball and closing down Richmond with incessant close pressure, but their delivery going forward will cost them against better teams that burn them in transition.

Didn't I say our kicking wasn't the best but it was around the contest that we won it?

I'm glad we agree :)

Not that happy with Richmond at the minute but I doubt we can get over Sydney and Hawthorn anyway.

If that was the first time this year you have watched a game of that standard you haven't watched many games :)

Disagree about Jenkins. Thought he was ok last night and his last month has been very good. Kicked 40 odd last year and is on track for that again, which is pretty handy as the third best forward.

CEY is an interesting one. Reckon you can't have both him and crouch in the midfield, and both of those lads probably got a few extra games due to Sloane being out.

Those stats would support Jenkins worth Benny. I think what many notice is the times he drops marks he should take, or misses a spoil (like last night), or gives up his ground too easily in a contest. Has an element of flat-track bully about him too. All subjective though and as I said, those stats you've touched would suggest he's a decent contributor.

Just on Jenkins, and he's not the only one in this category, but I hate it when players want to be the man and engage in jumper punches, then throw the head back for a free kick when they cop one (or sometimes almost cop one). He did it a coupla times last night. Soft look.

He is probably judged harshly by many (including myself) because he has the size and athleticism, and when he gets his skill right looks a seriously player, but he's inconsistent.

First 15 minutes of 1st qtr last night made some ordinary errors. Should stand out on the replay.

He is definitely inconsistent, but it still needs to be put in context. Has as many goals as Roughead this year, more than Petrie lynch Tippett Rioli, and 1 less than lecras Hawkins Pavlich Dixon and hogan.

Probably shows that when he finds consistency he can become one of the best forwards in the comp

Those blokes can and do spend a fair bit of time in other roles .. Don't think Jenkins is able to play anywhere other than forward, at this stage anyway. As you alluded to, he still has room for improvement, time will tell I guess whether he can find it
