Please let this irrelevant club make the finals if only for the humour of seeing the Tiger Army turn on the players when they are embarassed in the finals once again.
That was painfull to watch tonight, two garbage clubs with poor skills. Was a battle of who had the least turnovers. Both sides would of lost by 10 goals to any other side currently in the 8 tonight

Just trying to say its between he ears for the bombers, because you dont lose you skills in a few weeks.

Really it was a pea heart performance by a club thats an embarrassment now on and off the field.

But lets not all discount Richmond here. Thats 6 in a row for them. Not bad.

Honestly it was easy to pick the tigers last night. Perhaps they have timed their run 2 games too early.

Hard to pick against them now.

Well done guys. =D>

Just read that Melbourne have had 7 senior coaches since they last beat Hawthorn in 2006.
2017 safooty NFL tipping champ
2024 champ, Spargo’s Good Friday Cup @ Ascot

Let's be honest you can only beat what is put in front of you.
The losses to the Bulldogs, Demons & Roos will hurt us. Instead of 9-10 we should be 12-7.

Have only been smashed twice this year by the Bombers and Hawks.

Pushed Geelong and Freo to the end. Sign are good there with some of the players they have blooded. Just need to stay the course and draft well with the odd free agency pick up.

Let's stick behind Dimma and show faith, have complete confidence in him best appointment the club has made in years for a coach.

Finals are beckoning but need results to fall our way.

GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Lol at the optimism.
Hardwick has taken them backwards this year. Mediocre squad with a losing culture, these guys are light years away from being a contender.
Atleast half a dozen players not AFL standard and their so called guns havnt come on as much as they think.
But for the Bombers being so pathetic infront of goals it would of been season over.
Only making up numbers if they play finals and last night was further proof of why it should revert back to a top 5 finals series

Round 20 and all its trimmings

Postby RustyCage » Sat Aug 09, 2014 3:01 pm

No way should an 18 team comp have a final 5 system! What a crap competition it would be if half the teams seasons are over after 6 weeks

The AFL would never go for it due to TV but I reckon RR has a fair point. Rubbish sides dont deserve to play finals, Essendon, Collingwood, Richmond, Adelaide and the Suns are B grade sides at best. I dont mind a final 5 setup TBH, realistically the bottom 4 of the 8 have next to zero chance of ever getting to a Prelim let alone a GF under this setup

Rubbish sides won't do anything in the finals so no point killing the afl season off after the half way mark of the season for 10 teams just to do something that will have absolutely no influence on anything that happens in the finals
