Yep but one hell of a leader and a great defensive only minded footballer.

Much like u can't have a to many wide receivers u need a bloke like Maxwell in your defence, to me his a poor mans Scarlett. Scarlett's attacking ability to go with his defensive skills is what puts him in the elite of the elite.

Collingwood a balance will be thrown a tad out of wack now

If you don’t like my words, don’t listen. If you don’t like my appearance, don’t look. If you don’t like my actions, turn your head; It’s as simple as that.

Got a lot of quality players on the sidelines. Add Toovey to it for the next 12 months.

Sinclair should not be getting a game. Fasolo and Seedsman not up to it. Elliot and Dwyer will be inconsistent.

Need our guns back. Beams, Ball, Krak, Jolly, Maxwell etc make it a very different team.

Agree about Sinclair, disagree with Fasolo and Seedsman though, think they have more to offer but I'd stick with them. Russell had a shocker, I've been willing to defend him but after yesterday he can rot away in the VFL.

Fasolo is lazy.

Seedsman needs more time to develop. Was impressed by his penetrating kicks when he did get it.

I think yesterday busted the myth that Collingwood has great depth. Their bottom 4-5 players are VFL standard.
At full strength they are still a great side so I wouldnt write them off yet

Depth is good, but it can only run so far.

Rookies like Elliot and Dwyer aren't going to be at the top of their game every week.

Blair, Thomas and O'Brien had poor outputs yesterday. Last quarter showed an inferior work-rate across the board.

The positive is that we aren't even close to being at the top of our game. Long season and plenty of room for improvement, but must finish in top 4 at end of minor round.

Yeah my thoughts exactly.

I don't think depth is an issue we just don't work hard enough around the packs. First 15 minutes of the 3rd quarter and for 15 minutes of the last we were smashed out of the middle, I hope Luke Ball gets through tonight unscathed!

Yep, our depth has been (excessively) tested and found wanting.
Hopefully our horror run with injuries has climaxed with Toovey.
