Season all but gone. Losing to 2 scrubber teams in as many weeks makes us even worse.
Should have been 10 goals in front and out of sight yesterday with all the play we had.

Yep. Agree with that the power are rubbish. But you guys lost to them which means your highly rated side has some work to do. How much pressure will be on Scott this week.

I've noticed that since he's been coach at North, Brad Scott always seems to have plenty to say to the media on a whole range of issues.

Basically he talks too much and I reckon it's a smoke screen to divert attention from his poor coaching.
He should shut up and concentrate his efforts on getting some wins on the board for his floundering side.

If North miss out on the eight this year he'll be fired.

Signed a 2 year deal last year. North dont have the money to pay him out.
North wont make the 8 this year IMO

without a doubt we are the biggest joke beside melbourne
we have lacked defenders for over five years now and still we draft midfielders
we drop anthony for god knows why when he was our best against the dogs
biggest mistake scott has made at north was to distance the new boys from the shin boner spirit
well you reap what you sow because this heartless bunch couldnt tie a real skin boners shoe lace
13 to 15 is where we will end up unless they instill some guts and fight into this bunch
we stand as one
we fight as one

IMO North's tires have been pumped up far to much. One real good performance against the cats and they are up and about. Their problem is they still rely on Boomer in the MIDS (I know Zeibell, Anthony, Bastinac are there to, but Boomer is the barometer), Petrie Up FWD and Ferrito down back... Wells gets held to easy and then their talent falls away massively. UNtil the gap between their top line and bottom players closes they wont be any higher than 13th or so as D Man said.

My kids were shattered when they got home on Saturday.
I nearly chocked on my drink when the Power hit the front.
Very dissappointing.

The "shinboner spirit" is of no relevance in 2012 mate. Half the kids would have NFI what it means or stands for. If you're relying on that sort of inspiration for the players of today you might as well close the doors.

sorry Booney, but you miss the whole point of the SPIRIT OF SHIN BONER TOWN
LIKE TO SYDNEY SWANS OF A FEW YEARS AGO WHO STARTED THE BLOOD BROTHERS,ITS MORE ABOUT A CULTURE
it is what is handed down, what you measure your self and the team about, how you all have the one true goal
if you think that is irrelevant ,i feel sorry for you and people who think like that because to not have the same single mindeness in all at the club brings you back to the people thinking about I and we all know that their is no I in ....
we stand as one
we fight as one

Pressure must be huged on Scott now. Some bad losses are coming through. While the loss to the Bulldogs was bad and the loss to Port wasnt great, the flogging from yesterday would hurt.

Where to for North from here?

scott is a dead man walking

really is only a matter of time now

the bye - has it come at a good time or a bad time?

next match is v Gold Coast away, could the coasters win??? the coasters should have beaten both freo and bombers at home.

Nothing wrong with Brad Scott, he is in no danger at all, while not ideal I would think it is not panic stations just yet. I still think a solid team is being developed, maybe we have over rated our defenders a bit too much though and might need to change some things up there.

If the club can learn and respond form a loss like this then it can actually take them forward more than backwards. I look forward to the response.

What's the goss behind Lindsay Thomas? Very late omission prior to what would have been his 100th AFL match, missed a second match (but is fit because he kicked six in the VFL).
Surely he's gotta come back in after the bye.
