No way they will give up pick 6 for Ebert and a lower pick.

What I was suggesting is Port gets Ebert and West Coast second round pick and West Coast get pick 6

Most ridiculous rumour I've seen so far - Dane Swan to Adelaide.

LMAO.

No doubt there'll be some even better ones before the weeks out.

Trade week always ends up being a fizzer anyway. Nothing happens until the last 24 hrs and even then it's mostly just a spud shuffle.

I think this year might see some real movement around the place GN.

There will be loads of picks shuffled around with GWS and GC making waves, with that many fringe players ( IMO ) will be bundled with those picks. Clubs will be more likely to accept a mature age player with 20 odd games if they see them as a good fit as opposed to holding out to use ie pick 62 on a kid who is unproven.

As for Port and Ebert. I'd not give up pick 6, no way. But I would give up 22 and a player. Surjan?

True. Word is this draft is thin also which might prompt clubs to be more aggressive in trying to trade in talent.

we haven't got much room in our salary cap but could also do with another tall down back. Lachie Henderson would be praying for another defender, so he can play forward again.

that hasn't worried the blues in the passed gadj1976, just bring out the old brown paper bags again

Dean Warren (Brisbane Football Manager) has said on SEN that the Lions will make a formal approach for Crows forward Kurt Tippett this trade week.

Can't see it happening personally. I reckon Adelaide will feel they've invested far too much time and money into him for very little return at this stage. They will want at least another 12 months to endeavor to get some return for their investment, and/or give him 1 more season to drive up his value a bit.

Then again, a new coach may have very different ideas about where he wants to take the squad.

I suggested this one when Gunston originally requested a trade. I don't mind it.

Collingwood would definitely be the beneficiary of that trade.

If it were to happen I wouldn't mind seeing Redden and a pick coming our way. That is a dream outcome. But, with losing Gunston we can't really afford to lose another big forward now.

Maybe a three way deal with West Coast....

Mitch Clark to WC
Tippet to Brisbane
Brad Ebert (or early draft pick) and a second round draft pick to Adelaide

Edit: I see Wedgie mentioned this trade on another thread

I can't see the Crows trading Tippett at this stage.
