In an article on the AFL site Scott Burns gets a mention as a possible candidate for next year - I hadn't thought of him but it could be an interesting possibility.
He is "home grown" as a former Norwood boy, he had all those years at Collingwood, and has been an assistant at West Coast since 2008.
And he knows about being hard at the ball.

West Coast assistant Scott Burns has ruled himself out of the running for the vacant Adelaide senior coaching job.

Burns is one of a long list of assistants and out-of-contract senior coaches who have been mentioned as candidates after Neil Craig resigned. But Burns crossed his name off the list today, saying he wanted to concentrate on helping in the Eagles' revival.

Andrew McLeod has publicly stated that he thinks former Footscray and Brisbane player Michael McLean should be considered.

Would he be interested in the job?
Would he seriously be considered by the Adelaide board if he applied?

Think it would be interesting to have someone like him coaching as I'm sure he would have a different feel for the game than the majority of people in the Crows sights at the moment.
