Hope the Crows win all their remaining games and then appoint him for next season too......

i would rather lose every game for the rest of the year.

well something had to happen today. Well done to craigy for listening to the players. Now its up to the players to show something ..... anything at all would be good.

In an article on the AFL site Scott Burns gets a mention as a possible candidate for next year - I hadn't thought of him but it could be an interesting possibility.
He is "home grown" as a former Norwood boy, he had all those years at Collingwood, and has been an assistant at West Coast since 2008.
And he knows about being hard at the ball.

I just posted Scott Burns on another thread. Not sure if that's what the Crows are are looking for, but he'd be an interesting choice.

I think Gary McIntosh would be a good coach for the crows.

He is well respected

Clarkson would have the job in the bag if he actually wants it or not?

They asked Malcolm Blight who he thought they should get and Burns was his suggestion, over even the existing coaches out of contract, clearly he must rate him pretty well!

Am I the only one who gets sick of the Addy rolling out Blighty for a special comment on Adelaide? He hasn't been at the club for 12 years FFS.

..last part of above article..

West Coast assistant Scott Burns has ruled himself out of the running for the vacant Adelaide senior coaching job.

Burns is one of a long list of assistants and out-of-contract senior coaches who have been mentioned as candidates after Neil Craig resigned. But Burns crossed his name off the list today, saying he wanted to concentrate on helping in the Eagles' revival
.

Andrew McLeod has publicly stated that he thinks former Footscray and Brisbane player Michael McLean should be considered.

Would he be interested in the job?
Would he seriously be considered by the Adelaide board if he applied?

Think it would be interesting to have someone like him coaching as I'm sure he would have a different feel for the game than the majority of people in the Crows sights at the moment.
