Port can find plenty of great examples in their short time .. Roger James was superb at keeping his feet, and also keeping his hands free in a tackle

And the new supporters and sponsors are queing up after that effort...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Yep, it's one of my pet hates in football. Sometimes you see players go to ground for no apparent reason whatsoever, and it's not good enough. I saw a couple of Port boys today go to ground for no reason in that final term, rendering them out of the contest. Both times the Suns scored goals. As you rightly said, you never saw Ablett just fall over, and that was the difference.

fantastic result today....

a club who "claims" so much history showed less heart then the tin man from the wizard of oz... not taking aything away from the suns, they were awesome today... 40 points down to win. great effort...

power are a joke... worst side in the AFL easily... regardless of todays result....

To be honest, that's a pretty good crowd (for them) considering the timing and who they were up against.

As hilarious as it is laughing at Port, their continuing failure is bad for the SANFL. As much as their supporters reckon the SANFL is out to get them and want them to fail, in reality the success of the AFL clubs filters down and the league actually want them to succeed. It'd be stupid to think otherwise, it'd be like running a business and hoping all your customers are broke and cant pay the bills.

I am not laughing at Port, as how bad does that make us then after last week and being 'bulldozed by that powerful side'.

Have I got the right thread? Is this the sack Craig thread?

Agreed as much as I despise them as a SANFL supporter I want them to be successful. Hell I even made a point of going to their home game last week and spending money. Not for any other reason then than to pump some money back into the SANFL coffers.
