Village Tavern one Friday night when I was 18. Bikies charged in, grabbed a bloke. Held his mates. Slammed him behind a ciggie machine and slammed it against him. He gradually slid down behind the thing as they were slamming it. Scary.

Being in a nightclub in Mildura when some big Tongans teed off was also pretty scary.

point a) saying "big Tongans" is like saying "baby lamb", all lambs are babies........

point b) i've been in mildura when there was a "war" of sorts between them and aboriginals. went for a couple days. very scary.

Would have thought Eddie's sole reason for his comments would be to get Collingwood into the media, no doubt there has been a fair bit of hype in Melbourne about Fevola going to Brisbane and then Carlton playing Brisbane wouldn't imagine Carlton getting headlines would please big Ed. Like him or loathe him he has got everyone talking about him and collingwood again...marketing genius!
Trust the process.

For those unaware his comments were to actually to change the unfair advantage the Crows and Power have with coaches boxes behind the crowd, as he was told any club could do it they'd just have to sit with the rest of the crowd.
His comments are solely to try and stop 2 other teams have advantages others dont.
Eddie as at the end of the day he's just doing what's best for his club.
He's also stated its not an issue with the Crows or Power or South Australia, its with the AFL.

Well that was certainly a portion of what he had to say and it could be argued how much of an advantage this is, agreed it should have meant two boxes were built to accomodate both the visiting team and the away team in Showdowns.I myself stand behind the goals at most games as I prefer that view for some reason.

Eddie did have a fair bit more to say than that and I feel if any other AFL President was to have made similar comments to what Eddie did it would have been more controversial.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Coaches boxes for both the home club and away club are provided at every ground.
