big KT really has to step up and present himself this week. i reckon he is feeling the pressure and this is affecting his performance. Being the highest paid crows player is sure to bring the pressure.

He needs to step up and throw himself at contests tomorrow - lead Kurt!

Yep, needs to start busting the packs again too, knock over those defenders like ten-pins for the little fellas like the Porp to come through and clean up the spills. Doesn't matter if he can't drag it down himself.

IMO - that is the sole reason he showed so much last year, made plenty of contests and brang the ball down to the ground.

Agreed. He did it once last week in the first half and it almost resulted in a goal. Gotta see more of that tomorrow!

I truely feel he is feeling the pressure, and if he is struggling with a knee then thats going to stop him jumping and contesting at packs. If there was ever going to be a week that he was going to break out it has to be this week, no Thornton or Waite for carlton leaves them a bit light on in the back half and im not sure they have anyone that will go with him. All i hope is that he goes out there tomorrow gets his confidence back up MAKE USE OF HIS OPPORTUNITIES IN FRONT OF GOAL, and lead the boys to a win.

GO KT!

I reckon it won't be long before big Kurter will kick a bag, he'll be back into form soon enough. The midfield just needs to get the ball to him, like they did last year and he will kick goals.

1 goal in 4 games, truly pathetic.

I know he's banged up, and often being played out of position, and the forward structure is a joke but...

1 GOAL.

Yep I reckon he'll be dropped this week, not for lack of effort but for lack of results.

Not sure who'll come in to replace him though?

1 GOAL.

Pointless to drop him, who would replace him to get a positive out of it

Could also look at reasting him and getting that knee right. If he cant move properly then he wont have the desired effect on the game. So take him out and make sure he is right. Its not like your going to miss him at the moment. Place Walker down there at FF get him to lead hard, with Burton and Porplyza while big Tippett is recovering. You never know, this might get walker to take the game on a bit more.

Yeah it might be time for a rest for him, whats happening with Shauny McKernan, surely he would be looking at an inclusion soon.

Ben Rutten.......................has he lost it, seems so slow now i reckon Jimmy Sellar would outrun him at the moment

Brett Burton (in fact all crows) kick through the bloody ball in front of goal

Rutten was fantastic 2 weeks ago hardly lost it. Defenders these days are only as good as the pressure applied to the opposition midfield bring it inside 50. anyone will look slow when the forward has perfect delivery

Rutten's been good this season.

Mackay, Rutten and Reilly are probably top 3 in B&F. (I struggled for the 3rd).

Don't think there's much in it personally.

i think he is gone for sure next year but i guess only time will tell.

Maybe with the core group of 20-24 year olds recently committing to the club, and the potential for success under a new regime he could surprise and re-sign. Even if he doesn't Adelaide should expect a good trade in return.

Yes, that's the bit that softens the potential blow for me. Should he go we would probably still do alright out of it. 12 months is a long time in footy though, and if Adelaide manage to return to finals football next year he may just decide to stay.

Read the article on Tippett by Roo today and have to say, I may agree with him. If the Crows have the offer from GC to trade they should seriously look into it, if he is going to end up going anyway they should try and get something decent for him. It surely was no coincidence that when Tippett was out Walker looked so much better and then seem to struggle when he was there.

Agreed with that Roo article too, trade him now while we can still get something for him.

From the same article is that true we gave Richard Tambling a bloody three year deal? FFS, here I was thinking we might've given him a one year lifeline.

Tippett to stay with Adelaide? Well Caroline Wilson thinks so anyway:

'The Age understands that the Crows' big forward, Kurt Tippett, is also on the verge of discarding a special option in his contract to be traded to the club of his choice - instead committing to Adelaide, along with Dangerfield'.
