it is surprising that every one thinks the crows will finish down the bottom. they have twelve games at aami win 8 of 12 and only have to win 4 of 10 just to make the finals. and i exspect johncock,thompson,knights,maric,vince to make big strides this year. and with the core group crows will be hard to beat at home and the have a very good record away over the last three years

Last year they lost to Essendon, Geelong, West Coast and Fremantle at home. 12 games at AAMI isn't an automatic 12 wins. You don't have to win 4 out of ten to make the finals, you need 12 wins. Where are they going to come from?

Perhaps you could enlighten us where they might come from by posting your ladder my good man.

But Rutten does not play on him 22 weeks a year does he. The Brisbane midfield will improve again this year with the likes of Risca, Sherman and co improving again not to mention the addition of Travis Johnstone.

My prediction is that from about north to Adel they will be in with a chance of getting in the 8. Should be very tight. I think adaides ruck and forward lines indicate that they will have a long year. Although there defence is good, they will win there share of games but not enought to get in the 8.

Thats a list youngest to oldest from an article a few weeks ago. Pointless stat IMO as all the way down to Geelong they average only 23 and they really are in the ideal position to give the flag a real shake for the next 3-4 years.

To get a gauge on how you are really going you have to look at the quality of those kids.

Hmmm Corey Jones almost won All Australian honours last year, we know how good Thomson is, and Harding was leading goalkicker in 2003 and has had 40 goal seasons in the past....plus I havent been excited about our youngsters coming thru since the early 90's (Hansen, Thomas, Campbell, McMahon, Gibson, McIntosh, Wells, Smith and Swallow are all 100+ gamers)

Take Geelong out of the equation I reckon we are the 2nd best Vic team

You know that both St Kilda and Hawthorn both reside in the sunny state of Vicoria

Leg speed is a concern thru the middle, their tuck set up is very ordinary, I admit, Fraser as a ruckman does not excite me

I have a quesrion mark over the depth of their leadership group
