We still have those cold wet winter games to come so the average will drop but good signs that on field form is dragging people along to watch which will make a huge difference to their finances.

Yep no surprise that once the team starts winning footy park isn't that bad of a place!!

It's still a shite hole.

People will still go there though if there is a decent product to watch.

As I said I was there and not really sure about only 26K. Something seems a bit off there.

you are seriously a muppet. if you actually look at the draw you would notice port have played 3 teams that finished below them and the biggest gap 3 games difference in gws. We have also played a team that was one kick from a gf and another that finished 5. Who have the crows played? The crows are still to play any side in last year top 8. the true fact is the crows have had the softer draw.

so a team that is 1 kick away from gf has yet to play a top 8 side compared to a team that finished 3 games from bottom playing a team that was 1 kick from a gf and a team that finished 5. Because at the moment port is playing better footy then the crows it makes it softer for port? Here's some stats for you, the 3 teams that finished below port last year, 3, 2 and 1 more games then. the crows last year won 12, 12, 7, 6 and 6. the draw is done way before anyone can say how much a side has improved, so go back to the start of the year and before we know how good port are going to play and how bad the crows are going to play and the crows have the softer draw.

The draw always looks softer when you are near the top of the table.

in simple terms you can only compare the draw on where teams finished last year. If port where playing to the standard they where last year and same with the crows who would have the softer draw?

Be it 26,000 or 30,000 it still wouldnt be considered enough.
With the good style of footy they play and good results not to mention great weather I would think 35,000 would be the minimum expected by the club

We will always play GWS twice a year. Like I said, finish top and the draw always looks easier.

imho Port are yet to play a side who will play finals in 2013.

Does it matter NOOOOOOO!!! All you can do is win against who the AFL fixture you up against. Which they have done very well.

What they have done is set themselves up very nicely for a crack at the finals and IF they do make the finals the last thing the Power supporters will doing is comparing their draw to the Crows.

Thats why i prefer the way European soccer is fixtured where you play every team twice once at home once away, no soft draws etc etc exsist.

Maybe there still trying to justify the move to AO, wouldn't look good knocking down a stadium that can still get 35k to it

I agree, it was a lot busier than that.
