As a Cats fan I'm not exactly sure why the Cats went for McIntosh - Vardy, West, Stephenson and Simpson on the list already... Someone's gonna miss out!!
Vardy and West when fit are good enough, Stephenson was a short term fix for Ottens retiring and Simpson is the back up.
Rivers to replace Scarlett makes sense though....

I think its a very good P/U McIntosh was a very good ruckman 2 years ago and is only not playing at he Roos due to him and Goldstein not being able to perform together (with Petrie also in the side) and they have chosen to go with Goldstein.
McIntosh is a better Ruckman than all the above, and am surprised more clubs were not sniffing around for his services, Thought St Kilda may have had a crack Due to the Ruck issues
