anyone see dennis pagans interview on fox monday night
was very blunt and to the point like normal especially about the blues

Saw Magic Door in the foxtel cup on the weekend, shows good signs.
but as as you said, very raw and still has a long way to go

have it taped m8 so will watch it later and yeah look at what he walked into with the blues hey....it was always going to be a no brainer imho but he got some good $$$$ all the same...

He certainly shows glimpeses and looks freakish, then stuffs up a basic piece of play. Built like a brick shizen house! Hopefully continues to develop and cracks into the side

So correct my thinking but even if we sign him up, we can then use that signing as an "asset" for the club and then still trade him. If we didn't sign him, he could 'walk' to another club and we'd get zero for him? Right?

Hmm, the only catch then being that we'd have to pay the gap between the enormous amount he's commanding at Carlton and the nominal amount he's worth on the open market.

Don't get me wrong, he may come good but at the moment I can't quite see it happening.

The only probable reasons are to keep him as insurance if kreuzer gets injured, and if we put him on the market in trade month.
He is relatively young and a big unit, he could develop into a good ruck man as they usually take longer to develop

3 year contract says to me you are keeping him for a couple of years yet.
