Once again Freo show how stupid they are .... what a shit club. That guy years ago was right .... they should have called themself The Shit Fish !

Hes been delisted by Port and Fremantle already. I dont think he'd be a good pick up at all. He'd be fringe at best, and if Knights couldnt get a spot in the Crows team, I doubt Lower would. He only played 40 odd AFL games in his first 6 seasons...

He was walking because the one year deal was unacceptable, now he signs for 3? So was it the amatuer club or player/manager who was talking rubbish...

I think Giles called a good bluff on GWS, he wasnt going to leave. In the end the Giants realised they couldnt affort to let a senior experienced player go

Nick Lower at a good club would be a good player. Unfortunately has has been unlucky to be involved with Port Power and Freo .... two shit clubs who would not recognise a good footballer from a ham sandwich !

So basically pick 20 then. Since they have heaps of first round picks then not a bad deal for them if Collingwood accept.

They will then only have pick 4 as they've traded 3 and 13 already

i think Pettard has some up side if he can stay on the park and in what is touted as a very deep draft, think collingwood win out of this trade. The Dees forward line would look dangerous and exciting with Clark, Dawes, Pettard and Howe up there, will take a lot of pressure off Jack Watts if Dawes comes across but if i was Melbourne i would be keeping Pettard and offering a Bate or or Morton type

Not sure Dawes is worth pick 20 IMHO. Played several horrible games in the last 2 seasons as a power forward in a premiership contending team with skilled midfielders kicking to him. What's he going to achieve in a team with lesser skills and ability to deliver the ball to him? Also think Pettard (despite his injuries) is a fairly handy player. Big win for Collingwood if they take the deal.

Well Dawes averages 1.5 tackles per match and Botha averages 1.6 runs per match so probably a fair deal
