Yep, he's an old school footballer with old school values. I'm not particularly happy with this one.

Maybe a whole bunch of stuff.

Maybe Occam and his Razor is something a few people ought to read up and understand.

Do you seriously believe anything you just wrote?

All of it certainly more believable than some sort of malevolent conspiracy about not wanting to wear club attire or something or sending some coded message about him not being at the club.

I mean c'mon dude. The simplest answer is invariable right. For whatever reason they didn't have the right attire near them on them or within reach.

At the end of the 2017 season I walked out of my exit meeting knowing that it would be the last time I would walk through the Alberton doors as a player for the Port Adelaide Football Club.
I've always imagined what my last day at PAFC would look like. I thought I'd be in my 30's, playing my last game after announcing my retirement, thanking and waving goodbye to you all on the Adelaide oval.
As someone who is fiercely loyal, I always thought I'd be a one club player. I made this decision when I was overlooked at the end of the season when I felt like I still could of been a strong contributor to the team.
By leaving now, I am leaving with my head held high, satisfied with my efforts on and off the field and still believing that my best is good enough.
It was an honour to be a part of the PAFC culture. We have had some really good times together. Thank you for the love and support you have given me over the last 8 years, especially all of the messages of support I've received over the last few months. Although I can't respond to every single one, I read them all! I still believe in this club and I wish you all the very best for the future.
Last but not least, my new home... The doggies!!! - Thank you for the opportunity. This is a football club I really felt believed in me from the get go. A fresh start could not come at a better time and I can't wait to get down to Whitten Oval and train with the boys

PORT ADELAIDE has received a second-round compensation pick - currently pick 30 - for Jackson Trengove.

Trengove moved to the Bulldogs today on a long-term deal, with Port choosing not to match the offer made to the restricted free agent.

It means Port Adelaide will have current picks 29, 30, 48, 67 and 85.

Interested if we didn't offer Trengove a contract or if, post his dropping to the SANFL, he told us not to bother?

Don't like the smell of this one.

Same was said about Dixon's ankles when we traded for him.

Not hindsight.

I'd do the Dixon trade again all day, every day.

I share the same sentiment towards Rockliff. Worth the punt, even with a dodgy shoulder.

Wouldn't think so. Essendon are pr*cks to trade with.

Heard the Crows are on the lookout for a 3rd tall/intercept defender.

Media rumblings suggest one left earlier in the week. Not sure on the validity of that, though..
