27 Collingwood kicks marked by Port opponents. The disposal across the middle of the ground gave Port opportunities galore to get back and help Trengove and Carlile in defence.

27 to 9 I think the commentators said late in the game, frustrating!

Time to re-build, slowly gotten worse since the 2010 flag.

Time for Maxwell, O'Brien, Jolly, Ball, Krakouer, Didak, Hudson, Lynch all to go. Johnson already gone. Pendlebury to lead. Needs to be a new era.

Agreed, although I wouldn't call it a re-build, more so a clean up, pretty much agree with all of the above names except for maybe O'Brien... You can throw Heath Shaw on that list though, would hate to have that bloke on my side, every game is having a cry about something or mouthing off.

Still a fair bit of quality on the list, another forward to help Cloke out or another defender to free Reid up down forward would be ideal.

Footy Classified reporting that Darren Jolly has been asked to leave the club and won't be offered a new contract. Personality clashes they are saying

I'd say Brodie Grundy is the main reason.

Jolly, Didak, Krak, Russell and 2 rookies told their services are no longer required.

Thank god Russell's gone.

Shame Didaks out but the writings been on the wall for 2 years, gee he's kicked some great goals over the years, a few off the top of my head;
2002 Prelim final, final quarter against the crows.
I've never seen this game since and a full pub session meant the last quarter was a little hazy but he kicked a snap after shaking off an opponent and I think it put us 4 goals up? At the time that goal made me think we were home and heading to a GF.

2003 Qualifying Final v Brisbane, last quarter

Again the memories hazy but he kicked one from the boundary, 40-50 out which I think put us in front late in the game.

Against Port at footy park

No idea when this was, mid 2000's but giving the crowd the middle finger salutes after he drilled it at the southern end near the boundary was what stands out!

And who could forget in the third quarter, right foot snap goal in the 2010 replay!! Torn pec muscle and all, what a star!

He's had a great career and was one of my favorites (being from Adelaide and drafted from Port) would be good to see him get another gig if that's what he wants but I'd hate to see him toiling away in someone else's reserves side like he did with us this year.

Have to think it would be something like that, because I reckon he still has a fair bit to offer both as a player and guiding Grundy.

These delistings have opened up a bit of salary cap room. Still won't be enough to retain Daisy.

Nor should it, he wants too much. I don't wanna see him go but if he's after more cash then all the best and see ya later.

If the rumblings in Melbourne are true there might be atleast 1 more high paid player to be moved on.
Plenty of talk that either Swan or Shaw wont be there next year

I hope not, although I'd like to hear Heath has skipped high altitude training for a meditative getaway for a few months, try and settle him down a bit.
