Is chris scott actually any good or still just hanging by a thread from mark thompsons remaining unit, all of chris scotts new players do nothing. Kelly and stewart the exception

I do wonder where Geelong are going to go from here. Aging list, their young talent isn't as good as they might've hoped. I wonder where the improvement will come from.

They've put all their eggs in the Ablett basket this year. Unless they get a good mid and can push him forward next year I don't think they can make the 8.

Geelong will make the 8 most years as long as they keep Kardina Park. They aren’t Ablett reliant, too many are just lazy. Their future is Kelly and they need to lock him down.

Which is why there is some urgency for Geelong to keep him. Nothing has been signed. If they lose him then they have failed to look at life after Ablett.
