A shocker of a piece.

Completely oversaw incidents involving Goodes, NicNat & the collingwood banner fiasco.

Rowey and Bicks have got him on AA tonight. Rowey is already prepping to go to town on him.

Does that mean someone's borrowing a dictionary for Rowe and prepared to hold it up the right way for him on air?

2 of the last 5 minor round games at Adelaide Oval have been showdowns. During these games there has been :

- a banana thrown at Betts
- racial vilification of Betts
- racial vilification of Ryder
- a brawl on the hill
- a brawl in the stands
- social media commentary around false paedophilic activities of players
- yet more racial abuse of players on social media.

This is just the stuff that is widely known. Robbo's article has upset many, but sometimes an overreaction is required to get a reaction which hopefully leads to change in people's behaviour.

I like the idea of showdowns being in the early timeslot to lessen the amount of drunkards before the event, but this is just one measure that can be imposed.

It has taken too long for the crows and port to make a stand together on crowd behaviour, but at least there is now an effort. The in your face gloating and baiting of opposition supporters that happens after the final siren each and every time is childish and schoolyard behaviour at best. There is nothing wrong with banter but too often there is just plain abuse.

Everyone should be able to attend a game of football without fearing for their safety or having to look over their shoulder.

That's nothing. The last 2 Showdowns I've been to have included :

- 1 pre match in the Game Day Village ( 6 beers at $6 each )
- 6-10 ( I can't remember ) Super Drys or Draught at $8.40 each
- 1 post match in the Game Day Village ( 4 beers at $6 each )
- 1 post match Casino visit ( won $300 on Black Jack )
- 1 taxi ride home ( $35 )
- 1 Double Bacon Cheeseburger large onion rings and a coffee for the taxi driver
- 1 pre match at the Casino outside bar ( 4 beers at $8.50 each )
- 5 James Squire Golden Ales at $10 each
- 1 post match at the Strathmore
- 1 taxi home ( $35 ), well, actually to the Port Club
- Pokies at the Port Club ( dropped $50 )
- 1 walk home ( about 10-12 minutes )

Why doesn't anyone think of me?

Any reports on how this radio showdown went?
