Regarding Fev, Essendon did delist Jay Neagle after trying him out for 3 or so years. Maybe there is room on the list for him.

Apparently Port weren't impressed with the medical for Seaby, so that deal has gone cold.

Latest I've read is that Renouf for pick 33 is a good chance.

And looks like the Crows might be getting Johnston from Sydney as part of the Armstrong deal.

Good result for them if true, I'd love to have him at Port.

I wonder if they'll now consider trading Tippett.

Renouf for pick 33, ebert for pick 28? Id be happy with that.

The Port Adelaide Football Club has secured premiership ruckman Brent Renouf in a trade deal that provides the Power with a young and highly talented big man combination.

23-year-old Renouf - who played 52 games for Hawthorn and was part of the Hawks' 2008 Premiership - comes to Alberton in return for Port Adelaide’s number 33 pick at the AFL National Draft.

Port Adelaide football operations manager Peter Rohde said Renouf has the perfect mix of experience, youth and talent to form a long and successful partnership with the Power’s emerging ruckman, Matthew Lobbe.

“Brent fits exactly into the age profile that we are building our next premiership team around,” Rohde said.

“Not only is he a highly promising ruckman, but he is an elite runner who is fiercely competitive and comes to Port Adelaide having played more than 50 games, including a premiership.

I will be a little surprised if no one picks up fev... A clubs only Goin to pay a minimum wage for him... Only a small gamble financially but could be a massive payout if it works..

I'm happy with that and all of what Rohde said is true. He's still young, he's tasted the ultimate success and I'm much happier to see him head here than Ian Moss....I mean, Mark Seaby.

It also has the potential to ruin a club if things turn to shit. That risk far outweighs the positives.

I agree boon. I wouldnt classify him as a super ruckman, but he will get first hand on it most times and hopefully if he stays fit, the likes of boak, rodan, hartlett and co can make the most of it.

True too... Sydney seem to have a knack of turning players careers for good when they get there... I.e Lockett, hall. Just to name a couple. They were two good forwards who were in a bit of strife (career wise) when the swans took them... Saying all that Im pretty sure (like you said) they wouldn't take the risk either. We do lack a big forward... I'd like to see him get another chance...

When you consider Maric went for pick 37, I think pick 33 for Reouf is a fair trade
