Exactly right. The whole intent of the rule is for players to show intent to keep the ball in play so if a player deliberately allows the ball to roll out of play when they're in a position to pick it up are they not then responsible for it going out of play and should be penalised?

End of the day it's the most ridiculous law EVER intoduced to the game and should be last disposal OOB is a free kick as per the SANFL and most of SA i i assume?
There's less confusion and umpires dont have to be mind readers.

But the AFl are just simply too F*******G stubborn to admit they've made a F**K UP

It really is laughable
I enjoy bashing Collingwood but with only 8 interstate sides the most a Vic side really should travel interstate is about 6-7 times per year including Gather round.
Collingwood play 6 interstate this year

Well with only 9 Melbourne teams the most the non Melbourne sides should travel is 7-8times a year.
In a perfect world we would have a 34 round season and play everyone H&A.
That would still mean that most of the Melbourne clubs play 26 in Victoria and 8 away whilst the interstate clubs play 18 in their home state and 16 interstate.

Gonna say a lot about both teams this afternoon I feel.

Dogs to win for mine, think Bont, Freijah and Richards will get a hold of us and Darcy/Naughton combo will kick a bag.
But if we win the mid battle and our talls dominate, I would not be surprised either.

Time to beat a top 8 side on the road, something Crows haven't done all year.

Rate the Dogs highly, reckon you can lock them in for a prelim spot if they keep their list together

Should win by 30+

Im still not sold on the Crows albeit they have played some pretty decent footy at times

So if the dogs midfield win and their talls dominate…. They win.

If the crows mids win and their talls dominate…. They win.

Groundbreaking ;)

Collingwood has a top 4 spot locked up

Geelong has a top 4 spot locked up .....who would you like to play after your bye Chris "oh last years spooners please" and who would you like to play in the last round before the bye round "oh last years spooners please" --- RIGGED

Crows win this and they lock a spot up...will only lose 1 more game for the season.
