From what I've seen this year if the ball remains in the circle then it is acceptable, and deemed that both ruckmen have a good chance, whilst if it going to land outside, they recall it. Which seems good logic to me. Perhaps it wasn't recalled as it spurted out sideways rather than to either ruckman.
Thought the Crows got their fair share of good umpiring decisions, ie the two HTB's in the second quarter, one of which Bode goaled from. Would agree that Edwards HTB was a joke, and should have been fifty in the last quarter.
