should start 4 - 0

port beat freo last time over there
port seemingly way too good for the crows (source port propaganda radio)
port to beat Sydney easily (seemingly if port had made the grandfinal they would have thrashed Sydney as well) - (source port
propaganda radio)
Port to beat Hawthorn easily (port only loss by 3 points at the mcg so playing them at home should win easily - (source port propaganda radio)

but seriously the hardest game there is freo over there but they did win last time. Don't Sydney and Hawthorn usually start slowly at the beginning

Can they start slowly at the end?

Well clearly propaganda radio is full of sh*t then. If that was to be read into with any merit, Adelaide should have won the last 17 flags if double crow is anything to go by

The first 4 games are as 50/50 as they get. We could get off to a great confidence boosting start if Ken has us 100% heading into R1. If we get the wobbles, it could turn pear-shaped very quickly.

Yeah, there's no "propoganda" whatsoever from AFC- appointed Crows Ambassadors in the media such as Kym Dillon, Stephen Rowe etc etc.

Ask any neutral supporter in SA (ie. doesn't barrack for Port or the Crows), and they will tell you which club runs the propoganda machine in this state.

Lol and with the unbiased appointment of Mark Bickley it should be so much better.

if Tingles meant to be the Crows (don't understand and probably don't want to) then "not happy, Jan" as supernova is on in Melbourne on week 2 & with the comedy festival on, was hoping for a crows game as well. Why would we have 2 home games in a row?

Yes, "Tingle" is the Crows. A well known Port identity refers to them as "The Fruit Tingles"....ie - the guernsey looks like a fruit tingle packet.

Oh yeah, there's the articles written by Chris McDermott about how Port are a contender in 2015.

Oh hang on, McDermott is a Crows/Glenelg supporter :)

Port is certainly one of three teams that can win it next year, unless a bad run of injuries. The only thing they need to improve is more four quarters game and less need for comebacks but they still a young side. Some players will need to improve their game when the side not playing well and don't always depend on Boak and Gray to get them back. It should be exciting times for Power fans for next few years.

The crows may have an early season rise with a new coach but need to apply more pressure on the opposition, especially tackling, and will finish 9-12, especially as free agents talk get louder in the second half of the year. Lacking the leadership of a Hodge, Boak or Pavlich to take charge of the team during bad patches, to be a serious final contender.

Fixture being released this morning.

As a Port supporter Im not that impressed with a tough first 5 rounds or so, but I realise it goes with the territory when a club has a rise up the ladder.

Still, I would have hoped with Demetriou gone, that there would have more fairness all round, but yeah this is the AFL we're talking about.

Of Port's 11 Home games 5 are night and 3 are twilight.

Play Friday night against Geelong, Collingwood (H) and Hawthorn (A), Sydney on a Thursday in Sydney.

Double up against Hawthorn, Sydney, Fremantle and Adelaide.

Start with Fremantle (A), Sydney (H), North (A), Hawthorn (H), Adelaide (A), West Coast (H)....

Am really happy with our fixture next year.

A tough start (you expect that though, given our finish last year), but we rid ourselves of the sh*tty saturday afternoon timeslot (our lowest attendances last year were all sat arvo games). Port wanted prime time exposure, and blockbuster games, and we have got it in spades. 3 Saturday night games at AO, 1 Friday night game and 1 thursday night game, with another Thursday night and Friday night game away. 10 Night games across the season- a great result!

We double up against Adelaide, Fremantle, Hawthorn, Sydney & Western Bulldogs.

Bring on 2015!

1st weekend in May looks like the perfect footy weekend in Melb.

Fri Night Collingwood v Carlton at the G - Mick's game (Preferred option is the Bays v whoever is going to lose that night at Gliderol Stadium [-o< SANFL)
Sat arvo Richmond v Geelong at the G
Sat Night North (son's team) v Hawks (missus' team) at Docklands

Sunday shopping in Melb - beats all the hoopla and palaver of the Crows Mk I vs Crows Mk II back here that day
