If he was the stand out small forward in the comp wouldnt he have been AA then?

Wingard spent a lot of time rotating through the midfield where he racked up a lot more stats than Thomas who played solely as a small forward.
Carey, Matthews & Ablett Snr never won a Brownlow between them, yet are the probably the best 3 players of all time.
