it's just another opportunity for all the crows knockers to say why we can't win, personally looking at tonight's game, again the eagles gfame plan is great during the regular season but does not stack up in finals, they struggled to find forwards to kick a score.

let's remember Freo had won three games at AAMI this year and 9 in a row so on so on so on

if we are good enough the crows have a FANTASIC record against the swans, so if we make the GF and I am confident we will, Swans is the side we want to play

It's the worse kept secret in football circles that the Swans were rapt when the Eagles beat us in last year's prelim.
Make of that what you will.

Put it this way. If we beat the Eagles in the Prelim, I will be quietly confident for the GF.

Brave comment considering Syd has only beaten Adel once in 5 years

not to mention Syd have had a fair share of it's luck winning so many close finals in the last couple of years

Swans are still a long way from winning this comp

# Year Rd Team Score Versus Score Gnd Result Marg
1 2006 14 Adelaide 15.11 (101) vs Sydney 8.14 (62) SCG Crows were on fire, Swans were shocking at this time of year
2 2005 18 Adelaide 8.6 (54) vs Sydney 6.11 (47) AAMI 7 points at home, hardly convincing
3 2005 4 Adelaide 18.12 (120) vs Sydney 11.13 (79) SCG good win - early in the year but
4 2004 15 Adelaide 6.9 (45) vs Sydney 8.10 (58) SCG Loser

Fantastic form - on the surface yes but when you break it down, no

also add that the SCG suits the crows strangling style better than any other ground - unfortuantely for the Crows the MCG records read worse -

Swans have won their last 5 games at the MCG by average winning margin of 35 points

Crows have a 1-4 record in their last 5 games at the MCG for an average losing margin of 28 points

Summary - the MCG has proved this year with its high scores in comparison to the Dome that you cannot flood and strangle sides on the wide expanses, this is confirmed with the crows recent record there.

Reakon we saw the GF preview last night.

Great game, maybe the best of the year.

Loved it when Micky O gave it to the goobs behind the goals.
