Did anyone see Bomber on TV tonight? He looked strangely ill at ease when asked by Robbo about the Essendon situation. During the last question posed by Robbo, I watched Bomber's body language and he squirmed and I saw him pick at the desk, which I thought was a bit strange.

For those that missed it, Robbo asked if Bomber "if he saw this day coming?". Bomber answered "no, I don't think you ever see it coming but when you're on the edge like we were (Dank etc I assume he was referring to), it's still a shock".

It was more what he didn't say - which was, something like 'we always knew we were doing the right thing, so HELL YA it was a shock'.

Just plain odd.

He didn't want to be there but to his credit he was and answered all the questions ...

I agree but it didn't fill me with encouragement that neither the Dons nor the Cats are out of danger yet.

Yes, I'd agree with that ... a couple of his answers were open ended

The only thing I got from it was that I think Bomber is pi55ed with Dank. (reading between the lines).

He said "the good thing with ASADA is that they'll get to the bottom of it, they're very thorough". I'm reading that as, he hopes they get to the bottom of whatever Dank's done.

Dunno, strange.

Exactly what I thought.
Body language very defensive.

Yep, I saw that too.
Unusual for Bomber to look uncomfortable like that.

It was cringe worthy

I don’t like Bomber i think he is arrogant and condescending, so it was good to see him squirm a bit

Really? I think he's one of the most forthright coaches going around.
Normally tells it how it is on 360. Obviously he's been gagged by the club/AFL though.

I love the coaches night. Both of them are pretty good I reckon.
Ol Bob Murphy cracks me up too.

Sat on the set for 360 tonight. Hilarious during add breaks. Gerard spends 4-5 hours preparing the show, Robbo rocks up literally 10 mins before it begins.
Really interesting insight behind the scenes.
