It's not so much the injuries, it's the time spent out by players.

I think thats rubbish.

I think he plays a very important role for Collingwood in setting them up defensively. He may not be the best footballer but he sure is a good leader and certainly is important to how they set up down back.

Maxwell's injury will put the heat back on O'Brien at the worst possible time for the Magpies, prior to a match up with Hawthorn. The Hawks flogged the Magpies defence twice last year and will be buoyed by their excellent win over the Eagles in the West.

That I agree with. Harry gets found out a bit when he's the defensive leader. I think his decision making becomes conflicted.

Rubbish. Maxwell is as much as a spud as Tom Harley was.
He's a fantastic defensive leader.

Maybe. Less run and carry and more third man up. Opposition will find it easier to isolate him now.
