They all have one thing in common, an awkwardly placed VFL logo.

I prefer the 80s/90s NM logo to the current one. A kangaroo is a powerful, fast animal that IMO should be drawn side on to capture it's best features. The front on version that loses these strengths. I like the drawing style they have used but I'd prefer to see it side on, without the football.

Just to show that this isn't club bias - the Crows logo hasn't grown on me like Steven Trigg said it would. I like it less now than when it came out. The old one needed an update but I think they should have retained the whole body of the crow in an action pose of some kind. Get the claws out and show us some wing span! I have the same view on the Hawks logo. The Lions logo is a step backwards without the body too.

Maybe this is all just pedantic nit-picking.

I agree Hondo and the Hawks have done that for their new clash guernsey next year with the hawk complete with claws out and wings spread. I cant wait to see it released as i will definately buy one, looks awesome!

A hawk is a bird of prey so it is reasonable to have it's claws out, a crow is just a scavenger, getting the leftovers...

Agreed.

Collingwood x 2

I thought there was a law stating : you cannot use the the Australian Flag on a company thingy...?

But it is Collingwood.

Melbourne may be in breach of the law with the "Southern Cross"...? :-k

Probably the other way round mate, you can't use a Collingwood emblem on a company thingy.

Nothing wrong with variable guernseys for my own footy training boon. I already possess a power / port magpies jumper, saints, west coast and hawks strips and will add to the collection. Doesnt mean i support them i just like the design.

I don't think those "90s" logos were ever club official logos were they? I don't know what they were used for but the Crows only ever officially had that original swooping crow design.
