Isn't it all just about having a new one to sell to the fans each year.
It forces coming up with all sorts of rubbish just to make it look different.

I didn't mind that one, so long as it wasn't worn with the grey shorts too.
Looked like pyjamas.
But with either red or black (can't remember which one) it looked good.

I didn't mind it either.

Just with your mob and their clash jumper Baron, I've always thought it does not do great things at all for the great Jonathan Brown. Brown is almost full white is nowhere near as intimidating as the Lions home strip or in the big V for that matter.

Agreed. Although Browny's always going to be more intimidating than anyone else on the field.
But I reckon we should just wear our red one away. Actually they should go back to the Fitzroy logo instead of the Lion on the front.

Not sure about the Fitzroy FFC logo. Leave that for heritage rounds. But we should go back to having the Fitzroy lion with the football under it's front paw on both our Home and Away jumpers. The current lion logo looks ridiculous.

I'm an old Fitzroy supporter, so I'd love to see the FFC back again.
The new Lion has started to grow on me, but has got nothing on the old one.
The sooner they bring it back the better.
I've heard the club is looking into it for 2014.

Current one looks like an Under 10 GUERSNEY, and FWIW, the Hawthorn one has always looked like shit.

Brisbane need to show more respect to the old Fitzroy supporters who stuck with the lions after the takeover and play in the old FFC guernsey when in melb.
Recall us selling out (again) in the early 2000's and wearing an orange & white guernsey against the pies.

Dislike all teams white guernseys.

Why do we need them?

I can remember watching VFL Replay back in the early 70s on a black and white telly and even when Essendon played Richmond or North played Hawthorn,as long as one team had white shorts,I had no difficulty knowing who was who.

Besides,Essendon,Richmond,Hawthorn and Melbourne are traditional clubs who don't have white as one of their main colours and should not be forced into turning up in these diabolical outfits.

north have had a number of away strips all in white but to be honest i never liked or disliked them
just dont like a jumper thats got to much white in it
always thought the best away strip we used was the heritage jumper, the royal blue jumper with the white V
It looked good, was strong but still showed the two colors with great effect

i believe that when you look through most of the clubs training jumpers, they are so much better than their playing jumpers on match day

I totally agree. They never used to have them, so why start now?

Like previously mentioned, it's designed as a means to get people buying more merchandise, which goes back to the clubs, and therefore the AFL. Vlad and his cronies would be stupid not to flog superfluous goods to those who will buy them.
