...Gary Ablett would be very unlucky not to poll at least one today, despite the margin, against Fremantle.

Agreed, Judd to get votes today. Whether that is three is another story though, Carlton had so many winners all around the park.

If Judd wins the Brownlow this year, it says more about Carlton than anything else. If Murphy polls too many votes for Judd to win it, I'll be a happy person because for the first time in Judd/Carlton's association with each other, it will mean we're becoming a more balanced outfit.

Dane Swan will be an interesting one to assess today against Hawthorn. Didn't see the game, but have heard wildly varying reports - anything from not in the best 5 on ground, to getting the three votes in at least one media (Triple M) award.

When he gets 40 posessions weekly he still don't get a Brownlow vote.

I dont think it would bother him.

I think Hodge and Boyd will be right up there this year. Thinking both top 5. Thoughts? And surely with Geelong's early dominance, Kelly will be polling well?

Chec kout some of the place odds mate if you're keen. You can get some good numbers on top 3 place getters. I've had a crack at a few and Hodge is one of them. $8 for a top 3 finish I got him at.

I wouldn't mind some cash on Enright for a place. $126 at the moment.
Has had a super year and will poll well.
Selwood his only real potential vote stealer.

I reckon Matt Priddis at $26 for win and $7.25 for place isn't bad either.

Hodgey is a perennial non-vote getter and played under duress for the first half of the year. Save your $$!

Sam Mitchell will poll the most votes for the hawks by a mile.

Beat me to it .. Agree completely with both comments.

As for the Cats, I reckon Bartel goes the best of the lot in the first 8 or 9 rounds.

Bear in mind, Mitchell is ineligible to win the Medal, but yes, can still win Most Votes (which allows suspended players, as a rule) with agencies.

What do you expect when you are chip scap possession collector off the half back flank. Hodge's speciality is the 'courageous playing on through injury' and grimacing into the Camera to show how he manfully battles the pain.

Ling owns him.
