FRAUDMANTLE

Talk on the national game

Yeah that would kill their home ground advantage, a derby in the prelim would be massive.

This thread is a crock of 5hit. I reckon Fremantle can hold their heads high. They won nine games in a row, they won their first final, players such as Pavlich and Sandilands proved themselves in finals and most importantly, they didn't choke. The performance against Adelaide was fairly poor but the demolition of Melbourne was impressive and Freo were simply outclassed by a better side last night.

Freo had a crack all night long but had trouble covering O'Keefee, Hall and O'Loughlin. In that last quarter they appeared to run out of legs. Freo have arrived and next year may even get better. Fruadmantle? Not any more boyos.

They deserve to have the same derision (if not more because of how long they have been in the competition) directed towards Port POWER for losing their first three finals......

Well they didn't do a Port Power and go out in straight sets after finishing 3rd. So the same vindictive derision thrust towards Port can not be thrown their way.

You'd think based on the last 13 games Freo are well placed to mount a serious challenge to next years title....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

you got to walk before you can run, not many sides win flags without experiencing finals heart break, just another step forward to the Freo football club

if omeone said to me earlier in the year that freo would play off in a prelim, you would of thought the club would of been happy with that out come considering their lack of finals success

congrats freo on a good year, your challenge is to learn from the experience and front up next year a better side for that experience

But did they win a flag after 8 years of their existence???? UMM, no i dont think they did!!!!! Saying Freo has anything over Port throughout the existence of both teams in the league is just a joke!!

Great post.

The Dockers did much better in the end than I thought they would going into this year and they had a fair dip for much of the game last night. I thought the fairytale might come true there for a while.

Time to cancel the flights to Melbourne. ;)

Dockers can hold their heads up, considering where they were half way through the year.
