leave it as it is full replay ! It has happened 3 times in 100+ years of footy no need for change . If its a draw again golden goal for me :D

My thoughts are dont blow the siren, next score wins.

Why should the AFL reap the benefits of another grand final. I am pretty sure that most country and metro leagues around the country have had to forego all their tradition of grand final replays in the event of a draw because of the AFL. It would be far more beneficial for a country league to have another grand final, maybe the AFL can channel the extra money made to grass roots football. Definitely wont happen but it should.

put simply to continue with tradition ! Just a question in previous replays has there been provision for extra time or if it was another draw were they to come back again ?

He just did though, there'll be extra time next week.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

The most important thing about Football is the magnificence of the athletes
Ask the players about extra time or replays
But ask them after 72 hours when the emotion has subsided

I like the idea of a replay
but of the players dont, then change the rules

Not sure why the players should decide, the game is for far greater numbers than those who participate

We get closure in 6 days time
Unlike 1946, the Interstate footy match at Carlton Oval
VI 19-9
SA 18-15
64 years later, we can ask should there have been extra time for a no next week game

I still maintain it should be a replay
If we can get draws between these 2 for another 5 weeks in October I will be gratified
The Victorian cricket team plays Tasmania in a 50 over game on Sunday the 7th of November
The Saturday would be on the 6th of November
The game hopefully would be transferred to another venue
This would stop Collingwood playing about its 17th game in a row at the MCG

The difference is that currently is not a condition of AFL Grand Finals, rest assured it will be put in place this week for the replay but I'm thinking they will leave it as it is for the future because of the almighty $$$$ they will get in extra revenue.

Now that I'm sober and have had time to think about it, because I support one of the teams involved I'm hell bent on having closure yesterday, win or loss.

If the Pies weren't involved I'd probably be in favour of the replay.

The AFL are rubbing their hands with glee, the hospitality trade would be overjoyed, the bus and airline companies will be floating on air, all the football writers will have to postpone their long awaited holidays and put in for overtime, the TV Network will now have to juggle things around, as I'd imagine that all the OB units have been hired out to Bathurst for the weekend, all I can say is, thenk goodness the Wiggles have not booked the MCG for next Saturday .
