Hondo71

I don't think so (not at this stage).... Key Tall Forward, small forward and speed through the midfield is the first priority

I believe the Crows are confident with what they have, the club believes Griffen and Maric are well placed to take another big step next year, especially with a big pre-season
Biglands obviously returns from injury.
Tippett, the Crows are a huge wrap for Kurt and expect him to play a fair bit of AFL footy next year

Cameron Wood will end up at the Pies

The Crows should do a deal with the Kangaroos to get Matty Campbell on board, they need someone with his pace and he's dead keen to come back to SA and IMHO would lift another level.

Somone correct me if I'm wrong but can't rookies be drafted by another club if their original club hasn't elevated them??

I.e their original club has first dibs at them before the draft but after that if they are not on the main list other clubs are able to select them for their primary list???
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I thought you had to be elevated off the rookie list to play like he did?
Wasn't he an emergency in the Prelim?

Anyway, someone better tell him as he wasn't aware he couldn't be traded.

He got a gig by replacing either Thomson or Harding being injured, but is still a rookie, Thomas was an emergency for the Prelim...and your right Tassie Roos have the first crack at him, if they dont elevate him for 2008 its open slather...

as stated on the Symes thread

the crows could end up gaining picks 21, 22 and 28

this would give Adelaide picks 10, 21, 22, 28, 43 and 59 in the draft

depending on how Adelaide rates this years top 30 draft selections, Adelaide may not chose to tade second round picks for players, unless it is someone absolutely specific on their shopping list

and was elevated off the rookie list despite what Dutchy says! He has re-signed with the Roo's too but I'll bet Dutchy disputes that despite Matty telling me personally on Sunday night!

WTF are you on????

As Ive said he started the season as a Rookie, got elevated due to Thompsons injury...played 12 games BUT goes back to being a Rookie at the end of the season or when the player he replaced returns from injury...he does not remain on the Senior list.....as it stands now he is still a rookie and cannot be traded, Roos have to now elevate him to the 2008 Senior list or risk him being picked up by another club in the draft...

Wedgie says he hasnt signed and is coming home you say he has signed therefore the Roos have elevated him to the 2008 senior list....who is right?

where does it say that? I dont understand how he can be on the senior list when they arranged for Thompson to be available for the Prelim, which would have meant putting Campbell back to the Rookie list...
