Has to be a chance. Has a record of catching the umpires eye. Won the Liston medal in 2002 when he only played 11 games but polled ten best on grounds and one third preference.

I'm tipping Ablett won't win it.

Only because Demtriou tipped him at the start of the Red Carpet coverage. I'm sure he'd know who the winner is, and I'm sure he wouldn't announce the winner as his tip in the coverage. I could be wrong, but...

Have we all written off Simon Black or just forgotten about him? Is he a chance?

Personally, didn't see him play much.

WTF,
Black got 3 votes in round 2 for a 19 possesson game, once again 3 votes in round 10 for a 16 possession game

Macca gets 35 touches against the WB and gets 0 votes

You're always gonna get a few strange ones in the Brownlow, Magarey, etc.

Definitely not saying Macca was poor in that game, but using possession count purely as a vote getting indicator could be a bit short sighted IMHO.

It's what you do with it that counts.

Interceptor

apart from the Hawks game at AAMI, the the game againstt WB at the MCG against was one of Macca's top 2 games of the year, he continuously ran off HB, carried the footy and had 35 clean touches, including 6 goal assists and 12 enteries in the forward 50

HE WAS OUTSTANDING, in weight and quality of possessions

I'm sure you're right, wasn't disputing your assessment of that game at all.
Poor oversight by the umps in that case.

Just making a comment about high possession games in general.
