Poor form last year and two near misses in the finals burns strong for the cats. Fate is a fickle thing and fate in the VFL/AFL has never been with the cats all that often but this year Fate seems to be on the cats side we will know more come the final siren. On Geelong they can turn it on for a 10 minute burst and blow a side apart, and ruffing up big cam will not work on Friday night he wants another premiership like most of the Cats players they want to add an AFL premiership to their VFL one.

You are going to have to scratch that avatar - it interferes with one being able to read the well reasoned and intelligent comments in your posts! I think it is just the movement in the edge of my peripheral vision, because generally I am past the stage of my life when I was preoccupied with being fed and have a deeper interest in women.

sorry Psyber she stays i like the bouncing bouncing bouncing and btw its fun to watch and kinda hypnotic

I heard on the radio today that they expect 100,000 + to this game tomorrow night!!!

It was also mentioned that this crowd will probably be bigger than that of the Grand Final, unless Collingwood make it through!

I can't stand Collingwood, but I can't help but admire the crowd pulling power these guys have.

I imagine should Geelong lose, the Reg Hickey stand will be burnt to the ground by an angry mob of Cat fans (prior to their suicide)...

Yep Geelong have dominated all year, but try telling that to the 'upset' crowd (quite possibly formerly of the 'out in straight sets crowd' as well). As for the Hickey stand, how are going to burn the thing down after we've killed ourselves?

Doesn't prior mean before?

Yeah, that's what I always thought smac.
It appears that on the brink of a Prelim Final, Mr REB is losing his sense of humour!
Could it be that he is very worried about an inglorious exit from the MCG tonight?

Interesting stat REB- the Cats turn into Pussies at night at the MCG, having won 2 of 7.
Guess what happened last time they played the Pies at night at the G?
102 point LOSS!
I'm starting to think the Pies might plunder the Pussies.

Yeah, we lost to Richmond last year too. And night games in the wet would really suit Rocca, Rusling and Cloke too.

Punky the cats do play good wet weather football. When it rains Kardina Park turns into a quagmire and the cats still play top footy in it look at the Sydney game this year.

Can't wait for it to start!

I reckon it will be a cracker with a sell-out MCG

As much as I can be anti-Victorian clubs, its good to see a sell-out prelim at the G
In between signatures .....
